Issue comments: The P1a was ordered about the time the 310 F2a flap was
ordered. Kaskanampo requested the Greer Emblem Company to
create the Lodge's first neckerchief patch design. The
design was sent to the lodge in 1958 but was not ordered
until 1960.
This neckerchief became the first restricted issue of the
lodge and was one per life and was not to be traded.
The P1a was sold from 1960 to 1969, however there is a
report that four were found and sold in 1973.
The state name ALABAMA was put on the patch because
Kaskanampo was the only Alabama lodge that met for
conclave in Tennessee.
