washed and subsequently restored. The F1a remains the
toughest F1 to collect.

Issue comments: The Common White is the more common of the two F1 issues.
Two indications that the F1 is an old patch is it's odd
shape and the pre-60's era embroidrey of the fletching,
which was made before a better technique was developed for
1960's era patches.
Kaskanampo #310 was the first lodge in what was area SE-3
to produce a pocket flap as it's first issue. The other
lodges in the section (#50 Cherokee, #135 Auchunanchi,
#179 Alibamu, #224 Cowikee, #322 White Fang, #385 Yustaga,
and $481 Aracoma) used rounds, arrowheads, or shield
shapes as their first issues. When White Fang changed
it's name to Woa Cholena a fully embroidered "S", not an
"F", was it's first issue. Perhaps most recognizable
patch from that era to traders is the #50 Cherokee "Fifty
Round" (a cut edge) that was last sold in 1957.
