Other physical info: The design of the White is simple and straightforeward.
                     The totem looks like a real mussel shell in color, shape,
                     and design.

                     A discussion exists among some Kaskanampo traders as to
                     whether the F1v1 is a real issue.  Some say the only
                     reason it is smaller than the F1b is because it has been
                     washed and subsequently restored. The F1a remains the
                     toughest F1 to collect.

Issue comments:      The "Small White" was the first patch put out by the
                     lodge. It was called the White because of it's white
                     twill background. Early members of the lodge (and even
                     some today) called this patch the "cow pile" because of
                     the obvious resemblence of the mussel shell totem to
                     you-know-what.

                     The F1 was made so that the lodge would have a patch at
                     the 1950 National Jamboree.
