The UAH Writing Center provides free writing consultation to all members of the university community: students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Writers at any stage in the writing process--from brainstorming to researching to drafting--are welcome. For your convenience, we offer three types of appointments.
 
  • Standing weekly appointments made at the beginning of a semester 
  • Regular one-time appointments made by clicking the above link or visiting/calling the Writing Center
  • Walk-in appointments, which are sometimes available 

We schedule 30 minute sessions back-to-back; appointments begin and end on the hour and half hour.  Two appointments may be made back-to-back. If you are more than 5 minutes late and have not notified us in advance that you will be late, we reserve the right to give your appointment to a walk-in. If you cannot keep your appointment, please cancel it by visiting the on-line scheduler and deleting your appointment or by calling the writing center.
