What is the current critical status of To the Lighthouse?
Between 1963 and February 1997, the MLA shows 221 hits with 139 from 1985 forward. To the Lighthouse has generated more criticism than any of Woolf's other works. Most recently, it has become the only Woolf work for which the MLA publishes an Approaches to Teaching.
