Faculty and Staff

The Women’s Studies Program is supported by many faculty and staff members at UAHuntsville. The Program Staff, consisting of a director, events coordinator, staff assistant, and student assistant, oversee planning and programming and day-to-day operations. A faculty Program Advisory Committee consults on curricular matters, chooses scholarship and award winners, and advises on vision and programming. Our Teaching Faculty includes numerous faculty members in several colleges at UAHuntsville who teach classes designated as Women’s Studies courses. Several additional faculty members oversee the POWER student club, the Harris paper competition, and the Colloquium on Women’s Studies (CWS) faculty research group.
