What are Proctored exams?
As a member of the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC), UAHuntsville's Instructional & Testing Services proctors examinations for distance learning students at other colleges and universities, as well as community members seeking certain professional certifications and licensures.
How do I set up an appointment for a Proctored Exam?
Complete the Proctored Exam Information Form prior to registration and return it to Testing Services in room 225 of WIlson Hall, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax at 256-824-6860. After the form is complete, call Testing Services at 256-824-6725 to set up an appointment.
How far in advance should I make my appointment?
We advise that you contact our office at least 3 weeks before your desired test date to ensure that exam materials are received on time and that the scheduled date is suitable for all parties, particularly if your exam is over 3 hours in length. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request without sufficient notice.
How much does a proctored session cost?
The non-refundable fee for this service is $35 for any test up to three hours in length and $10 for each additional hour.
How do I pay for my exam session?
Fees should be paid online within 48 hours of setting a test date.
Registering online allows you to take the a proctored exam. You must contact Testing Services at (256) 824-6725 to be assigned a specific date and time to take the test based on availability. You should contact Testing Services before registering online in order to ensure that our office has the dates/times you would like.
