What is Residual ACT?
Just like the national ACT® test, Residual ACT assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. It is mainly used for college admissions.
Why would I take Residual ACT?
If you missed the national ACT test date and you are seeking admission to UAH for an upcoming semester, you may be eligible to take the Residual ACT.
Can I take Residual ACT at UAH if I plan to attend another institution?
No. Results are reported only to the college administering the test. No Student Reports or High School Reports are generated, and no Additional Score Reports will be generated to report scores to any other institution.
Can I take the Residual ACT more than once?
Yes, however, you must wait 60 days before retesting
What are the eligibility requirements to take Residual ACT at UAH?
Examinees must complete a UAH application for admission and submit high school or GED transcripts prior to testing.
