For 60 years, Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D), a national nonprofit, volunteer organization, has been the leading producer of accessible educational materials for students with disabilities such as visual impairment or dyslexia that make reading standard print difficult or impossible. BOOKSHARE
Books on tape available to members who join-cost of membership not covered by DSS services.
Bookshare believes that people with print disabilities should have the same ease of access to books and periodicals that people without disabilities enjoy. The Bookshare.org library provides print disabled people in the United States with legal access to over 37,100 books and 150 periodicals that are converted to Braille, large print or digital formats for text to speech audio.
