"Badgers" The University of Wisconsin - Madison is located in Madison, Wisconsin. They have proudly represented the Great Lakes Region seventeen times at the national level (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012). The Badgers hosted the National Concrete Canoe Competition in 1996 and and 2002. The team is the only one to have won five consecutive nationals championships (2003-2007). The University of Wisconsin - Madison and Clemson hold the record for the most consecutive national appearances (14 years). The University of Wisconsin - Madison is also one of five schools (the University of California - Berkeley, Cal Poly - SLO, Clemson, and UAH are the other four) that have won back-to-back national titles.
