University of Wisconsin - Madison

The University of Wisconsin - Madison is located in Madison, Wisconsin.  They have proudly represented the Great Lakes Region thirteen times at the national level (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007).

The Badgers hosted the National Concrete Canoe Competition in 1996 and and 2002.  The team is the only one to have won five consecutive nationals championships (2003-2007).  They are one of four schools (the University of California - Berkeley, Clemson, and UAH are the other three) that have won back-to-back national titles.  The Badgers finished six times in the top five and eight times in the top ten.

The team's National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) performance record stands as follows:

• Best Overall (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007)

• Most Design Points (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007)

• Most Race Points (2006, 2007)

• Best Design Paper (2005, 2006, 2007)
