"SD Tech Concrete Canoe Team"
South Dakota School of Mines and Technology

South Dakota School of Mines and Technology is located in Rapid City, South Dakota.  They have proudly represented the Rocky Mountain Conference fourteen times at the national level (1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2006).

SD Tech has a very distinguished competition record and served as the host of the National Concrete Canoe Competition in 1998.  The team won the competition once (1995), has finished five times in the top five, and eleven times in the top ten.

The team's National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) performance record stands as follows:

• Most Race Points (1995)

• Best Design Paper (1996)

• Best Display 

• Best Oral Presentation

• Best Product (1995, 1997, 2002)
