Presentation:

The Ecole de Technologie Superieure represented the Upstate New York Conference and made their fifth national appearance.

ETS relied on 4 people to make their presentation; 3 men and 1 woman.  The presenters were dressed in formal attire.  The team used 1 screen and included animations and 1 major video segment.

After a dynamic introduction, the team provided details underlying their theme.  They reviewed their efforts last year and explained how they expanded on that delivery.  

The team specified the location of the critical stress and gave an analysis that included a factor of safety.  They outlined their objectives and explained how they met them by adding constituents to their concrete and employing reinforcement.  

They explained how they performed a dynamic stress analysis and said that they employed a combination of free fibers and continuous mesh to withstand the critical service load.  

They went through form construction then proceeded to concrete construction.  They detailed their reinforcement scheme and mentioned how they finished and sealed the boat.  

Then the team explained their fundraising strategy and went through their recruitment techniques.   They outlined their management strategy and their efforts made toward sustainability.

After providing a summary, the team brought their presentation to a strong conclusion.

• Can you explain your analogy to elastic foundation analysis?

• How did your results compare to those derived from last year's model?

• Can you explain your dynamic plate analysis?

• Were there any differences between the mixes that contained fibers and had none?

• Why did the fibers reduce deflection in fatigue tests?

• Why did you set such a high safety factor?

• What was your stress requirement?

The team gave a very strong presentation and handled questions quite well.
