Presentation:
Fairmont
State
represented the
Virginias Conference and made their sixth national appearance.
Fairmont
State
relied on 4 people to make their presentation; 3 men and 1 woman.
The presenters were dressed in casual attire.
The team used 2 screens and did not include any videos.
After giving a brief introduction, the team described their
organization structure. They
outlined their milestones, the schedule, and management scenario.
They elaborated on their desire to bring fresh ideas to the competition
and explained the challenges associated with being given the hull design.
After explaining how they determined their critical load, the team
specified how large it was and where it occurred.
Mix design came next. The team
described the constituents, explained how they related to sustainability, and
gave the mix properties.
Then the team described how they constructed their form and placed their canoe.
They touched base on quality assurance and control, and ddescribed how
their stands were constructed along with the steps taken to improve aesthetics.
Then, the team brought their presentation to conclusion.
