Presentation:
The
University
of Evansville represented the Great Lakes Conference and made their third
national appearance.
Evansville
relied on 4 men to make their presentation.
The presenters were dressed in formal attire.
The team used 1 screen and included video segments.
After giving a dynamic introduction, team members introduced themselves.
They began by describing the project management.
Then it was on to hull analysis.
The team explained how they modeled the structure and
obtained the critical parameters associated with their concrete.
The team outlined the desired characteristics and explained how they
added constituents to meet the objectives.
The team touched base on sustainability and explained that
a substantial proportion of their mix consisted of recyclables.
After mix properties were specified, it was off to construction.
The team described the benefits of using a female mold and
described the methods used to improve aesthetics.
They described the casting procedure and the methods used to place
pigmented layers before giving the basic dimensions of their boat.
Finally, the team mentioned their recruiting techniques and outlined the lessons
learned before bringing their presentation to conclusion.
