Presentation:

North Carolina State represented the Carolinas Conference and made their ninth national appearance.

NC State relied on 3 people to make their presentation; 3 men presented.  The presenters were dressed business casual and the presentation was business oriented.  The team used 1 screen and did not include any video.

Following team introductions, the team outlines their goals.  They began by elaborating on the steps taken to improve their hull design and described the unique attributes of their entry.

Structural analysis came next.  The team explained how they developed their finite element analysis and concluded that the maximum stress occurs at the hard chine.

Then the team explained how they went about their mix design process.  They outlined their goals and presented the properties of their mix.  They described the reinforcement scenario and elaborated on the project management and construction.

They detailed the strategy underlying their delivery and outlined the methods used for quality control.  Then the team elaborated on their finishing techniques before bringing their presentation to conclusion.
