"2001 Vital Statistics - Displays and Boats"
The displays and boats showcased at the 2001 ASCE/MBT National Concrete Canoe Competition were unparalleled in the history of the competition and we photographed each and every one of them. Well, almost all of them. The Catholic University of America was disqualified because they didn't bring their boat to the competition.
The display photographs were purposefully taken with as little clutter (participants, spectators, etc.) as possible to show exactly what they contained. Our photographs of the boats are not as clean because they were taken during the final product judging.
We have included vital stats and supplementary information about every school that participated in the competition. Schools are listed in descending order of overall final placement except for ties where we employed alphabetical order. Display and product points were given for the top ten finishes in each category. Finishes below ten in the display and product categories received no points at nationals and all schools in that category were listed by us as finishing tied at 11th place.
If any of the information is incorrect or you would like to add or modify something, please contact our faculty advisor, Dr. John Gilbert. Thanks!
