Western Kentucky University, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, was the representative from the Ohio Valley Region.  This was their seventh appearance at nationals.  It was the team's sixth consecutive appearance and their eighth place finish was their highest to date.  But don't underestimate this team because, judging by their web site and performance in 2001, they have their eye on top five and are quickly spiraling toward the top.
