Vital Stats:

The University of Wisconsin, located in Madison, Wisconsin, was the representative from the Great Lakes Region.  This year marked their seventh consecutive appearance at nationals.  They have two top ten finishes to their credit.  Their highest finish to date was seventh in 2000.

Canoe/Materials/Facts:

The students used a male mold to fabricate their canoe.  The design incorporated a "V-shaped" hull of tumblehome and rocker, and their canoe was constructed of lightweight concrete mix incorporating glass bubbles and ceramic beads as aggregates.
