ABOUT

Mission Statement

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) tutorial program mission is to design and develop an effective and comprehensive tutoring program that will promote student success, assist students in becoming independent in self study, build self confidence, enhance academic performance and help students develop and refine particular skills needed to persist to graduation.

We strive to provide academic support through small group settings and occasional one-to-one sessions with experienced tutors. Our academically prepared and trained tutors provide help to their peers in a number of academic courses specifically, in math, chemistry, foreign languages, biology, history, English, economics, engineering and other courses as needed.

Tutoring

  • In theory tutors can be obtained for any class
  • Rule of three – for any group (same subject) of 3 students, we will attempt to hire a tutor.
