Homecoming Court

Homecoming is almost a month away (October 14 - 19, 2013) and it's time to submit your nominations for Homecoming King and Queen.  Each registered student organization is eligible to nominate one male student and one female student.  The Homecoming committee will conduct interviews September 30^th through October 2^nd, and narrow the court to 5 male and 5 female candidates.  The student body will then vote on during Homecoming Week, starting at noon on Monday, October 14th and ending at midnight on October 17^th.  Please only one submission per organization.

Nomination Criteria

• Candidate must be full-time undergraduate students at UAH
• Candidate must have attended the two consecutive semesters (Fall 2012 and Spring 2013) prior to the current term
• Candidate must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Candidate must be in good standing with the University
• Candidate has not served on the UAH Homecoming Court in the past
• Candidate must be involved in at least one registered student organization or club affiliated with UAH. (NOTE:  Your organization must be registered through the Student Life office by September 30, 2013)

• September 25, 2013    Applications are due online at 5:00 p.m.
• September 27, 2013    Notifications sent to candidates that qualify for a Homecoming Court interview
• September 30, 2013    Homecoming Court candidate interviews
• October 1, 2013           Homecoming Court candidate interviews
• October 2, 2013           Homecoming Court candidate interviews
• October 7, 2013           Homecoming Court campaigning permitted to begin
• October 14, 2013         King and Queen voting beings at Noon
• October 17, 2013         King and Queen voting ends at Midnight
• October 18, 2013         Announcement of King and Queen at Midnight Madness
