Resources for Veterans

UAH is pleased to support all of our Veteran students and students receiving Veteran benefits through a variety of programs, services, and activities.  

The UAH Veterans Network

The UAH Veterans' Network is comprised of student veterans who meet regularly to discuss ideas and concerns and develops programs & activities for other veteran students. The primary purpose of this network is to provide Veterans an opportunity to share their experiences, receive support, and assist one another as they pursue their academic goals at UAH. The network also provides an avenue to disperse information to its members and serve as an advocate for veterans on campus. Throughout the academic year, the network sponsors special seminars of topical interest that are designed to meet specific needs of our veterans.

During Fall 2013 semester, the Veterans Network will meet on 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of each month in SC 107B from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Veteran Champions

On campus, we have a group of individuals that are identified as "Veteran Champions." These are Veteran-friendly staff who represent the various student service entities that are attuned to the needs of veterans. They are available and willing to aid Veterans at UAHuntsville.
