What is Charger Path?

Charger Path is your online career management system. All currently enrolled students are provided with an account during the first week of classes each semester; login instructions are sent to your UAHuntsville email address.

Alumni have full use of Charger Path as well; just log in to create your account.  You will need to know your A number for registration. If you do not know your A number or have forgotten it, please contact Charger Central at (256) 824-7777 for assistance.

All positions that are posted through the Career Development office are available through Charger Path including co-ops, internships, on-campus and off-campus positions as well as degreed opportunities.

 What is my Username and Password for Charger Path?

Your username is your A number. Your initial password is generated by the Charger Path system and comes to you in a welcome email at the time you receive your account; however, anytime you forget your password just login with your A number and click "Forgot Password." A new temporary password will be created and sent to your UAHuntsville email address; you can then change the password  in your Charger Path Profile tab.

 How to Make Charger Path Work For You:

• ·Make sure your profile information is accurate and upload your current resume(s).
  

• ·Check out your Privacy tab. Do you allow yourself to be included in Resume Books? If so, you increase your chances of finding a position. Resume books are available to employers who are registered with Charger Path. Also, if an employer asks Career Development for a resume bundle, this allows your resume to be included.
  

• ·Check Charger Path a couple of times each week. Employers log on to post jobs daily. Good days to check are Mondays and Thursdays.
  

• ·Refine your search by Job Type – that way you’ll narrow the listings down to only the job type that’s of interest to you.
  

• ·Ever wonder about the “Employers” tab on your Charger Path account? That tab is not for employers, it’s for you to access our database of employers. There are over 1,500 registered companies, so be sure to refine your search based upon your major or by industry.
  

• ·Don’t forget to look at the Extended Job Search, too. Positions posted here are through the National Association of Colleges and Employers. This search provides positions from Huntsville around the globe, so be sure to refine your search by using keywords and locations.
  

• ·All employers and positions posted with Charger Path Jobs and the Extended Job Search must be approved, this guarantees you that the positions posted are valid and the companies are reputable.
  

• ·Prior to Career Fair each Fall and Spring, you’ll find a list of the participating employers along with the majors they’re seeking on the Charger Path home page.
