Campus Information
The University of Alabama in Huntsville is a public co-edcuational, state-supported research university within the University of Alabama System. UAHuntsville was founded as part of the University of Alabama in 1950 and became an autonomous campus within the UA System in 1969.
We have an average annual enrollment of approximately 7,600 undergraduate and graduate students. We offer 71 degree granting programs that meet the highest standards of excellence, including 33 bachelor's degree programs, 23 masters' degree programs and 15 Ph.D. programs across five colleges: Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Nursing and Science.
