Mission Statement

The Academic Coaching component of the SSC is dedicated to assisting students with the complete transition into University Life. We do this by developing responsibility and motivation for learning, and assisting with the achievement of their academic goals. We serve as the primary University resource for academic support and referrals. We empower students to take ownership of their academic success, with the goal of increased retention and higher graduation rates at UAHuntsville.
