Information for Alumni

All services offered by the Career Development Office are available to our alumni at no charge for a lifetime. All alumni are invited to participate in any activities provided by the Career Development Office, including career fairs and professional development courses/workshops. Alumni may also use UAHuntsville's on-line career management system, Charger Path, to search and apply for jobs.

Charger Path Career Management System

To create or activate your account, log onto Charger Path and complete all required fields. In order to register  on Charger Path, you must know your A Number (UAH student identification number). If you do not know your A Number, please contact Charger Central at (256) 824-7777 and they will be able to assist you. Once your Charger Path registration is complete, please feel free to make an appointment with your Career Coordinator, by logging into Charger Path and clicking Request a Counseling Appointment from the home page.

FOCUS 2 Education and Career Planning System

FOCUS 2 is an online interactive, self-guided career and education planning system designed to helpyou make decisions about your future career goals and education plans.

FOCUS 2 will guide you through an interactive process enabling you to:

1. Assess your career planning readiness, work interests, values, skills, personality type and leisure time interests.
2. Broaden your career options and discover occupations matching your personal preferences and attributes.
3. Decide which career fields, majors and training programs are best for you.
4. Plan the career and educational pathway that will support your personal needs and goals.

As an alumna, you can use FOCUS 2 to assist with ongoing career exploration and awareness, to gain experience, to make career plans and to plan for advanced education and training.
