Monsters, Beowolf, and More Monsters!

On October 1st, 1999, the Society for Ancient Languages hosted a public reading at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Huntsville, Alabama. Our theme for the evening was "Monsters," as members have been learning the intricacies of Anglo-Saxon Old English, they decided that a public reading including Beowolf with his monstrous arch-enemies was in order, to include that newly-honed language.
