Superconvergent postprocessing of general finite element solutions of the Stokes problem

Abstract

In this talk, we will discuss the superconvergent recovery of the finite element solutions of the Stokes problem by local L² projection method. The L² projection method is a relatively new technique developed recently for second order elliptic problems in order to obtain superconvergence for finite element approximations on general unstructured meshes.
