Abstract
One of the major problems in the computational mechanics is the assessment of the reliability of the computed results. The talk will address the problem of the a-posteriori error estimation of the computed results It will concentrate on the case of solving elliptic partial differential equations which has wide applications in the structural mechanics. A-posteriori upper and lower bounds of the computed data will be presented.
