Mr. Wayne Thompson

Research Scientist II, Rotorcraft Systems Engineering & Simulation Center (RSESC)

Biography

Mr. Wayne Thompson is a Research Scientist with the University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH) Rotorcraft Systems Engineering and Simulation Center (RSESC) and has been employed by the University for over nineteen years. Mr. Thompson holds bachelor's degrees in both Physics and Mathematics from UAH and has been the principal investigator for RSESC's support of NASA Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) activities at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

Having participated in a wide array of contracts and research projects as a researcher, project manager, and principal investigator, Mr. Thompson has broad experience in delivering aerospace expertise to a variety of topics, such as: NDE, surface contamination analysis, aerospace systems safety analysis, space mission analysis and design, noise abatement, and product and business development.

Mr. Thompson currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Nexus Energy Center.
