Mr. Keplinger graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) in 2013 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering while working as a student employee for the Rotorcraft Systems Engineering and Simulation Center (RSESC). He now works RSESC full time and is pursuing a Master’s of Science Degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering from UAH. Mr. Keplinger has experience with computer aided design (CAD) and finite-element software (FEA) software for the analysis, design, and fabrication of components and parts on a variety of projects at RSESC including; the design, fabrication and test of the test apparatus for NASA’s Hurricane Imaging Radar (HIRAD) II instrument, the design and fabrication of the Rotating Blade Test Chamber including the programming of the data acquisition equipment using LabView, and participated in the analysis and testing for the U.S. Army’s Unit Maintenance Aerial Recovery Kit (UMARK) upgrades. His current work includes upgrading the hydraulic module for the U.S. Army’s Auxiliary Ground Power Unit (AGPU). Mr. Keplinger is a member of the American Helicopter Society and the U.S. Army Aviation Association of America.
