The student will learn: (1) the procedure to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate part maintainability functions, (2) the methods to design part maintainability experiments and fit empirical data to part maintainability functions, and (3) the algorithmic and simulation characterization of deterministic and distributed part maintainability and availability functions.
