The Reliability and Failure Analysis Lab (RFAL) establishes a working relationship with Remington Outdoor Company

The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Reliability and Failure Analysis Lab (RFAL) has established a working relationship with Remington Outdoor Company. The city of Huntsville has welcomed Remington with open arms and now Remington is establishing relationships with the local community and University. Remington is reaching out to the RFAL to assist in product development and we could not be more excited. Read more

Congratulations to seven of our students who participated in the Reliability and Maintainability Workshop sponsored by the Society of Reliability Engineers and the Engineering Directorate.   These students represented the university well.  Our Undergraduates consisted of Hunter Bray  (Undergraduate Presentation Winner), Nicholas Fyfe, and Dustin Love.  Our Graduates consisted of Greg Doud (Graduate Presentation Winner), Charles Boyles, Andrew Zollar, and Daniel Sillivant. The University of Alabama Reliability and Failure Analysis Lab (RFAL) is proud to welcome Dr. Bill Carswell, PMP to its staff. Research Institute Celebrates 50 Years of Success, Opens Newest Lab

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Nov. 9, 2011) - The University of Alabama in Huntsville today celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Research Institute and opened its newest lab, The Reliability and Failure Analysis Laboratory (RFAL). RFAL is designed to enable research to reduce the cost of ownership of defense and aerospace systems, according to Rhoades.
