Reporting Concerning Behavior

UAHuntsville has established a Behavioral Evaluation and Threat Assessment (BETA) program to provide a mechanism by which violence, threats of violence, and behaviors that are disruptive to institutional activities may be reported, evaluated and addressed.

Report emergency situations involving behavior that appears to pose a clear and immediate threat of violence or self-harm immediately to UAHuntsville Police by dialing 911.

For situations where there does not appear to be an immediate risk, refer to the following as applicable:

• Reports of concerning student behavior should be made to the Dean of Students by calling (256) 824-6700
• Reports of concerning faculty members' behavior should be made to the appropriate Academic Dean
• Reports of concerning staff members' behavior should be made to the UAHuntsville Human Resources Office at (256) 824-2286
