SHORT TITLE: Exterior Environments
Well-designed environments should extend beyond the interior walls of the building. This class introduces you to historical precedents, design concepts, and principles common to exterior environments. Topics include an overview of urban design and landscape architecture, architecture/site connections, creating design patterns in the landscape, site furnishings and details, and plant selection.
