HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (October 5, 2012)—Robin H. Lindstrom, a UAHuntsville Health and Physical Education Instructor for 18 years, recently renewed his elite-level FAA accreditations. He has held this accreditation continuously since 1998 and is one of only 11 worldwide to earn the credential eight or more times. Additionally, he is one of only 27 aviation educators worldwide to hold two accreditations concurrently.
Rob's accreditations as a Master CFI (Certificated Flight Instructor) and a Master Ground Instructor (MGI) were renewed by the Master Instructors LLC, the international accrediting authority for the Master Instructor designation as well as the FAA-approved "Master Instructor Program™." Rob is one of only 11 Alabama aviation educators who have earned this prestigious "Master" title.
Rob, a retired U.S. Army artillery officer, is the safety officer and assistant chief flight instructor with the Redstone Arsenal Flying Activity at Redstone Army Airfield. From Rob’s UAHuntsville students, approximately 250 have successfully gone on to become FAA certified private pilots.
If you’re interested in learning from one of the best educators in the world, Rob currently teaches Private Pilot Ground School (HPE 230) and Instrument Airplane Rating (HPE 231) with the Health and Physical Education Department at UAHuntsville.
Spring classes begin January 7, 2013. Register online or call the HPE Department at 256-824-6007 for more information.
