Cyber security experts are in increased demand and demand is expected to continue to rise. The Top 10 most frequently held certifications include Security+, Network+, CISSP and PMP. Security+ and Network+ are in the top 3. Also, as DoD 8570 compliant, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), number six on the list, is the recognized standard in network security. Project Management Professional (PMP) is number six on the ClearanceJobs.com list, and as the drive for government efficiency and the need for professionals to steer programs increases, PMP is expected to remain in demand.
