Credits and Alliances
Defense Acquisition UniversityWelcome to members of the Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (ATL) workforce!
A strategic alliance (UAHuntsville/DAU Memorandum) established between the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAHuntsville) Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS) and the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) in March, 2005, now makes it easier for you to complete several UAHuntsville PCS certificate programs.
By granting equivalency to those AT&L employees who have completed DAU ACQ101, Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, UAHuntsville PCS has shortened the number of courses you are required to take in several programs, bringing you one step closer to completing a certificate.
UAHuntsville PCS certificate programs eligible for ACQ101 at this time are:
- Systems Engineering
ACQ101 is equivalent to Systems Engineering Overview, online or classroom format
- Test and Evaluation
ACQ101 is equivalent to Test and Evaluation Foundation, online or classroom format
- Federal Contract Management Essentials
ACQ101 is equivalent to Understanding Procurement and Contract Types, online or classroom format
How to Register
