HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (May 31, 2016) — The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS) recently offered a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with SysML course for individuals who attended from all around the country. This course defines what MBSE is, explains the three pillars of MBSE, and evangelizes the roots of the return on investment (ROI) from practicing MBSE to organizational decision makers.

"There is such a high demand for MBSE training that we have generated a waiting list for attendees. The next course will be held from November 7th-9th, 2016 from 8:30am-4:30pm."
Lane Fabby, Director of Professional Development, UAH

Participants gain a comprehensive application of practicing MBSE. SysML is a graphical modeling language that enables you to practice MBSE and has become the standard among MBSE practitioners. After completing the course, participants are able to apply a modeling method, OOSEM (INCOSE's Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method), to create a behavioral and structural model of a system in a standardized modeling language, SysML (OMG's Systems Modeling Language), using a dedicated SysML modeling tool, No Magic's Cameo Systems Modeler.

What MBSE participants are saying:
"The instructors articulated everything very well and showed exemplary attention to detail both in the instruction and materials."
