Explore the theoretical and applied nutritional sciences as they relate to fitness and sport with this online learning course. Through a series of video lectures and online activities and assignments, participants will develop the practical skills needed in solving nutritional problems in exercising populations. Nutritional requirements and practices as they relate to general fitness, specific types of athletic performance, and special needs individuals (such as those under- and overweight) will be addressed. Participants will also learn to evaluate publications and products marketed to athletes for credibility and appropriateness of use.
