It is intended to provide healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

Prerequisites:
You must have a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider Card that has not yet expired to take the recertification course. If your card has expired, then you must take the full course.
