ED 532 / SPA 532 - 3.0 Graduate Credit Hours | Graduate Tuition: $595


Build on the knowledge and experience you gain as a part of the Space Academy for Educators and earn graduate credit by attending this follow-on graduate course offered by The University of Alabama in Huntsville.

The online course will provide you a formal framework for reflection and the development of lesson plans to adapt your new expertise in space science into effective and exciting methods for classroom implementation and discovery.

* Prerequisite: Participation in a 2017 session of the Space Academy for Educators.


The graduate course includes the following two primary assignments and grading model:

Reflection Website - Participants will develop a website that incorporates experiences in the workshops, tours, or missions from camp.
Final Reflection Paper - The final reflection paper provides an opportunity for reflection, as well as reactions, about what you expereinced in workshops and interactions with other educators in attendance.
Grading Model - Reflection Website: 60%, Final Reflection Paper: 40%

Course activities are correlated with STEM related curricula developed at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.
