The footprint of Human Spaceflight is expanding from government owned and operated, to government/industry partnerships, as well as independent commercial ventures. As the market is entering new paradigm and NASA is embarking on a new operating model, now is the time to bring stakeholders together to help shape a safe, reliable human spaceflight industry for the future. To provide for broad representation, participants were project and program managers who will be responsible for shaping NASA’s future over the next 10 – 20 years. This will include representation from Human Spaceflight and Safety organizations across NASA centers and mission directorates, and to include representatives from prime industry partners such as, but not limited to, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, ULA, SpaceX and others alike.

This workshop introduced the basics of Photoshop as well as the most often used tools for applying image-manipulation techniques. The workshop taught methods in using Photoshop imaging combined with watercolor techniques as a form of alternative creative expression.

The UA System Scholars Institute is hosted each year on a rotating basis by one of the UA System campuses. Scholars Institutes are open to faculty, staff, and administration attendance from all three campuses. The Scholars Institute supports collaboration among faculty and administration system-wide, and encourages a shared community of knowledge for implementing best practices into the use of technology in the teaching, learning, and research processes.

CSER is the primary conference for disseminating systems engineering research and germinating new research ideas.  At CSER 2016, researchers from around the world presented papers that pushed the boundaries of systems engineering research and responded to new challenges for systems architecting and engineering.
