Administrative Memo ORA-96-08
|Subject:||Fringe Benefit Rate for Proposals|
|From:||Sue Weir, Research Administrator|
As of January 1, 1996, the fringe benefit rate for UAH sponsored research proposals will be 25% of non-student salaries and wages. This percent is an average of fringe benefits for the categories of employees working on sponsored projects. Actual fringe charges are billed to the funding agency as fringe calculations vary for each employee. The fringe benefit component of a proposal budget refers to the amount of the University matches for each proposed employee, not the amount deducted from the employee's salary/check.
