Fringe Benefit Rates
The fringe benefit rate (to be used in all proposal estimates) is 34% of non-student salaries and wages. Note: actual fringe benefits per individual are charged to direct funded contracts and grants. In the case of commercial contracts, the fringe benefit rate is proposed and charged at 34%.
Fringe benefits for Graduate Students are tuition and health insurance.
Undergraduates do not receive fringe benefits.
