Previous Next Freshman Orientation sessions for the summer 2016 and fall 2016 terms have concluded. If you are a newly admitted student and were unable to attend an orientation session, please be sure to complete the following steps: Contact an Academic Advisor to register for classes. It may be possible for them to advise you over the phone, or via email. Review the First Year Guide. Submit your final high school transcripts and any college transcripts to the UAH Office of Admissions. Have official AP/IB scores sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the testing agency in order to have your scores evaluated for UAH credit. Ensure you can login to your student account at my.uah.edu. Use your student account to register for classes, view grades, pay your university bill, check financial aid, update contact information, and access Canvas (learning management system used by your instructors). Activate your UAH email with the instructions sent in the mail after your acceptance to UAH. Visit our Office of Information Technology for additional assistance. Your UAH email is now the official means of communication. Once you arrive on campus, have your Charger Identification Card made in Charger Union, room 131. They are open Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 5:00 pm. You can also change your meal plan preference by visiting this office. Remember, all full time students are required to have a meal plan. Please visit the University Bursar for questions about your university bill, or setting up a payment plan. Visit the Financial Aid Office for questions and assistance with scholarships, grants, loans, and work study. Complete immunization requirements with the Student Health Center.
