Congratulations on being accepted to UAHuntsville, and welcome to Charger Nation! Orientation is an exciting time for new students. Transitioning from high school, another college, or out of the work
force can often be a bit overwhelming. At Orientation you’ll get all your questions and concerns answered. Plus we’ll help prepare you for the personal, social and academic changes ahead. Rest assured, Orientation will help make your transition to UAHuntsville as smooth as possible.
There are many benefits to attending including:
- Meet with an advisor and discuss academic expectations
- Register for classes and get your Charger Card (student ID)
- Discover tools to enable your academic success at UAHuntsville
- Explore opportunities to get involved on campus
- Arrange for on-campus housing if needed
- Learn about the campus and traditions
- Talk with current UAHuntsville students
- Meet and socialize with other new students…and more!
