Getting Started

Panopto Lecture Capture System

The Panopto lecture capture system allows instructors to make their captured courses available in ANGEL. For details on the Panopto system, download Panopto - Getting Started with Lecture Capture.

If you are using one of the newly equipped classrooms designed specifically to support lecture capture in Madison Hall (rooms 200, 207, 213, or 215) or Materials Sciences Connector Building room 113, the Enhanced Classroom quick start guide will aquaint you with how to operate the equipment.

Schedule Recording Times or Rooms

If you are a pilot participant and you would like to reserve a classroom for recording purposes or schedule a time to use a Panopto recorder license on your personal or university-owned equipment, please refer to these instructions.

Guest Lecturers

If you will host guest lecturers (not affiliated with the university) that you plan to record using the lecture capture software and distribute the recording via ANGEL, please complete and have the guest lecturer sign a release and copyright permission form prior to the lecture. Completed forms may be returned to Pam Tejes by interoffice mail or scanned and set electronically.
