FRC Mission:

The Faculty Resource Center will serve the professional development needs of UAH Faculty, Instructors, and Instructional Support Staff - to ensure that these groups have access to training and resources that allow the creation and delivery of technologically relevant instructional content – in the pursuit of offering UAH students the highest quality education.

Resources:

  1. The FRC includes a lab with 10 computers configured for content development and multimedia production.
  2. The FRC has multimedia equipment available for check out by University employees.
  3. The FRC has a video production studio with lighting, chroma-key backdrop (aka "green screen"), and a JVC GY-HM100U high-definition camcorder. Please contact the FRC to schedule use of the video production studio.
  4. The FRC also has a high definition video teleconference system with dual LCD displays. Please contact the FRC to schedule use of the video teleconference equipment.

The FRC is located on the UAH Louis Salmon Library second floor, room 233

Hours:

Faculty and staff may access the FRC and its computers by simply stopping by the Instructional Technology department in the Salmon Library room 222 or by contacting the department at FRC@uah.edu or ext. 6717. Please view the calendar for  availability.

In addition to standard computer lab applications such as MS Office Suite, Internet browsers and plug-ins, etc., the FRC lab computers include the following:
