Mobile devices are becoming increasingly popular. With the use of many different phones and tablets becoming more and more widespread, they also are becoming more attractive as targets for cyber criminals.

Don't underestimate the power in your hands. Your Andriod or Apple device is basically a computer, and it has the same limitations and weaknesses as any other computer. Learn more about the precautions you should take to protect your mobile device and the information stored in it.

Do you worry that your identity could be stolen if you lost your smart phone or iPad? You should.
Learn how to protect yourself by securing your mobile device. In honor of this October's National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), Wendy Worlund, i.t.solutions' TAG Help Desk Coordinator will be hosting workshops in Salmon Library, Room 111 the following dates and times. In this workshop Wendy will present the risks and show you how to mitigate them just by knowing and using your settings on your phone and learning to be more secure. Come with your smart phone, iPad, or iPod, and be ready to protect yourself!

Cullinane is the former Chief Information Security Officer at eBay and Co-Founder of the Cloud Security Alliance.
