Training
Banner Courses currently offered:
- Banner Navigation Fundamentals: This class is essential for all new Banner users. This class teaches users the structure of the Banner systems, how to navigate from form to form, how to use the electronic documentation, how to query for a person, and how to perform searches. You must have an active Banner ID in order to attend this and all other training.
- Searching by SSN: This short-course demonstrates how to search forms using Social Security Numbers in the ID field. Video (1:42). Document (PDF).
- CLEAN Address Training: This course discusses CLEAN Address features and benefits. It also provides a demonstration of various suggestion alerts that users may encounter while entering and updating address data. Document (PDF).
- Name Searching and Common Matching: Name Searching and Common Matching in Banner: During this short recording, you will see a demonstration of the ID and Name Extended Search form as well as the GOMATCH form which is used in Common Matching. Both are targeted at preventing duplicate records from being created in Banner. Video (6:42). Document (PDF).
